The mother was so selfish it's insane, why are you planning to leave ur child with his father and go to space?? Why have the child in the first place especially when u know u aren't a naturally nurturing person and don't specifically like children??? And then you raise him w/o love and leave immediately u think his old enough? What's even the most aggravating is that most likely in her mind she has fulfilled her 'responsibility' while what she truly did was bring someone into the world against his will and fail him in almost every way only to untimely abandon him
