I found myself thinking angels situation even before the climax and thought they was no other way to call what happened to angel as anything as a blessing, the erasure of all his painful memories, everything that gave him anguish and anxiety and giving him a blank slate and wings it couldn't be interpreted as anything else, then even giving him kouki so he could be loved one last time it's all too much I wish death actually worked like that I would have jumped out this building rn
There is something so breathtakingly beautiful abt this manga(definitely one of the best harada's ever written) it explores grief, regret and the feeling of meaninglessness(idk if this is a word) so we'll and ends in such a beautiful manner leaving no loose ends..it's pure genius lol
