There is something so breathtakingly beautiful abt this manga(definitely one of the best harada's ever written) it explores grief, regret and the feeling of meaninglessness(idk if this is a word) so we'll and ends in such a beautiful manner leaving no loose ends..it's pure genius lol

I loved this so much, read it in a go and thoroughly enjoyed it. Just wish sang had a better send off(I might just be greedy coz he is one of my fav characters but his send off felt very lackluster idk) also wish they would have gone more in depth on myunghua mother's storyline and on the joint background of his mother and the shaman that gave him that hex, for her to love his mom so much that she was willing to give her entire life up for revenge not only on the husband but also on all his descandants sounds so fucking colddddd wish we could see more of it
The mother was so selfish it's insane, why are you planning to leave ur child with his father and go to space?? Why have the child in the first place especially when u know u aren't a naturally nurturing person and don't specifically like children??? And then you raise him w/o love and leave immediately u think his old enough? What's even the most aggravating is that most likely in her mind she has fulfilled her 'responsibility' while what she truly did was bring someone into the world against his will and fail him in almost every way only to untimely abandon him
And the way she was angry at the father girl you were planning to do the same thing

One of the best manwhas I've ever read, each and every characters flaws and strifes felt so close to home, I cried like a baby during the last chapters and even though I know we never will I can't help but hope that we get side stories just so that we can see more of them especially of sujo
Anyway this work is a masterpiece and it'll probably be in my mind forever
I know all the ppl defending the seme for weeks feel dumb asf now lmao
I found myself thinking angels situation even before the climax and thought they was no other way to call what happened to angel as anything as a blessing, the erasure of all his painful memories, everything that gave him anguish and anxiety and giving him a blank slate and wings it couldn't be interpreted as anything else, then even giving him kouki so he could be loved one last time it's all too much
I wish death actually worked like that I would have jumped out this building rn
