it really doesn't help that ML is deeply traumatized so you sympathize even if he is an asshole
I wouldn't sympathize with him if he was an asshole. I’m sympathizing with him and I’m torn now because I know he is traumatized and I am seeing him actually trying to be better, to learn, to apologize even though he still doesn’t even fully understand. And it’s because of his behavior previously why I loved the mc’s response to him.
If the ml went there with his same piece of shit attitude and commentary. Then I wouldn’t gaf about him or be torn.
I am so torrnnn. I love the mc for standing his ground but I’m so cut up seeing the ml also try to speak and express him self being unable to do so and not having the space to. I’m soooo toorrrnnn man . He really needs to sort himself out but my shaayylaaa
