Don't you understand that if the MC had just given a clear answer to ML sooner, ML wouldn't have had to cling to a promise that the insanely insincere, huge-lier MC —who always only cares about his own pain and doesn't care what he said or did even for a second— doesn't even remember?
MC had literally over 10 YEARS to do that.
And it became even more urgent, since the conditions for becoming chairman are suddenly being presented now.
If the chairman's seat was so important to him, he should have reveal own true feelings and decide to be lovers or to cut ties with ML and set him free quickly.

imo both of them are wrong. Thats why i said that communication wouldve fixed sm of their problems. Just because mc treated ml like that for a long time doesnt give ml the right to fuck with him because they both have their problems and cant see from eachothers perspectives. Two toxic people doesnt make it okay and if communication would fuck up their relationship then so be it bc clearly that means that they arent compatible with each other in that sense. Mc isnt obligated to get with ml just because ml has been pining him for a decade.
