I was just reading Sigrid and completed Sica Wolf. You should give both a read! Sigrid is looked down on at first by BOTH men and women, but she earns respect from everyone (her friends defend her). Sica Wolf also earns respect, but her gender is as much of a focus her being a young looking mage is.
You can also try The Beast Tamed by the Villainess the fl is be littled but earns respect! The ml and fl relationship is toxic at times but they make up and they're very sweet to eachother a lot. It's not for everyone, but the ml doesn't talk down to her all the time. (It's a complicated to explain their entire situation and dynamic)
Death is the only ending for the villainess, is a favorite.
I've Become a Crow, The Crows Prince
The Moon on the Cliff
The Tainted Half
Survive as the Hero's Wife
I’ve read all of them hahaha but their great yeah!! I love some toxicity and complexity, because it explores how people actually behave. People aren’t perfect and they’re going to make mistakes, be selfish and full of flaws. I understand for plots sake that characters need to have pretty straightforward motivations and morals, but the reality is characters past experiences define their actions and that action isn’t always going to be right.
I’m speaking very broadly but people are fascinating and multifaceted, it’s just so interesting!!
I’m not putting down this manwha in particular, I can see what they’re going for in terms of dynamic. But I just it annoying because the FL is the butt of the joke all the time
Sorry im just spewing nonsense lol hahah
Actually I'm not reading this comic at all, I was just browsing around so I wouldn't know.
It's honestly funny how you've already read them all! XD Darn! Anyway, I also like complications when appropriate. What's the point if there's no conflict?
I agree about people being multifaceted and that it's interesting. Fictional characters have to follow strick rules that apply to them otherwise it seems out of character for them, but in real life everyone is wearing a mask and everyone steps out of line in multiple ways. If anyone met me from my school today they'd think I was someone else entirely. I was the kid who only spoke when spoken to and was zombie who just wondered around until I got home so I could actually be myself. I'm an extremely talkative person who loves socializing with my family and after I become close with someone I behave the same. (FYI School is a prison where you're punished for being a child and you're not aloud to speak your mind or play with your toys nore eat when you're hungry and are forced to go even if you're sick you only get 7 sick days. Don't worry about the pneumonia you caught because you were forced to go outside for recess, during the freezing cold. The school will not be held responsible for literally anything and no bully is punished only the child whose bullied is)
I hate it when video games with multiple choices lock you out of dialog options because you chose one of the 2 too many times. *Cough cough Mass Effect*

(English isn’t my first language opss)
But I just have to know what other people think. Is it just me who gets insanely annoyed due to ML in stories constantly berating and minimising the FL?? Don’t get me wrong I love some banter and flirting, but it has to be mutual and fun.
I find myself really frustrated because why are you downplaying the FL’s accomplishments and making fun of the fact they appear more masculine? I understand the thing that FL often disguise themselves as men, but at the same time it’s still them??
And then ML always arriving at the conclusion that “Well, you’re only just a girl.” Like and??? Why aren’t they allowed to be both masculine and feminine? Why only like someone because they’re a woman, when you can like someone for who they are? Women aren’t weak aliens walking among men, they’re human beings with strengths and abilities.
Maybe it’s just my own insecurities that I’m projecting onto manhwa stories lol
But it keeps happening everytime I read something new and I get soooo annoyed
