im also confused, for earlier in the story ML is skeptical of MCs meds, why is that? I don’t remember seeing a probable reason to suspect MCs meds? like what’s the reason of suspicion, and also is it the drugs from the party he was at during his dream the reason why he can’t feel happiness? or is it the medicine he’s currently taking, or is that just not confirmed at all, I’m not sure if im supposed to be confused until the plot further develops or if it’s because I missed something

im not really sure if this is the answer you need, but yeah the drug makes the user cannot feel happy physically unless they consume that drug again and again. so basically it is a drug that guaranteed an addiction.

the ML also noticed MC don't like lights. its one of the side effects of the drug, that gives hallucination, light blindness and feeling "elated" when seeing lights if u consume the drug.

I believe the main character has antidepressants if I remember correctly and basically antidepressants help with depression anxiety and suicidal thoughts , the reason why the male lead was skeptical about the main character's meds was because he was basically trying to put the puzzle together of what could happen to the main character for him to one half antidepressants and two why his emotions gone , but all of this was then on confirmed when the male lead went to have that meeting about the drug , which is a reason why he was having like lines repeated behind him because he was putting the pieces together of what could have happened to the main character , which he then confirmed that the main character took the drug , which is the reason why the main character no longer feels happiness, cuz as the people who were selling the drug said once they take the drug they can no longer feel a certain spark which is a reason why whenever the main character comes around Bright lights he gets that certain high feel and get dizzy and drowsy again , the first chapter of the second season is just basically explaining how he got the drug in his system and it seems like the main vocalist of the group The white-haired at one trunk the drink that had the drug in it and basically force fed it into the main characters mouth which is the reason why

If you saw in that scene the main character is trying to push off the person so he won't drink it but he still end up swallowing it

ML aim rn is to find and stop the distributors of the happy drug in korea. The meds are a clue that tip him off that MC probably was addicted to this drug before. He wasn't suspicious of them so much as curious to understand what they were for. Since MC isn't exactly open.

Why it's relevant: if MC was exposed to this drug it means there's a connection between MC and the distributors so it's a lead for the ML on where to look to bring down this drug cartel
