Characters: Jaeyoung (Our baby MC, former member of Dream Boy), Seungmin (Our baby ML), Baek Jun (Former Main Vocal of Dream Boy), Sugyeom (Possibly Former Leader of Dream Boy), Yoosung and Hyesung (Former Members of Dream Boy)
So, the current year in this Manhwa is 2023.
In chapter 7, it is suggested that 8 years ago or in 2015, Baek Jun and Jaeyoung already know each other. According to Sugyeom in ch. 7, Jaeyoung was dragged around by "that guy" with the panel showing a ripped photo of their group (missing panel here, look at raws or other site), the same photo (unripped) that Seungmin showed to Jaeyoung's coworker in the convenient store in ch. 14. It is highly likely that this "guy" is Baek Jun as all throughout the manhwa, Baek Jun's name is barely spoken like his name is taboo while Yuseong and Sugyeom freely discusses about Jaeyoung and Hyesung in Ch. 12.
Then, either in 2016 or 2017, Jaeyoung joined Sunshine Entertainment. According to him in ch. 4, he worked there for 3 years so it's either 2016-2019 or 2017-2020.
April 1, 2017 - Dream Boy debuted with Baek Jun or Joon (Main Vocal), Sookyum or Sugyeom, Boo Yuseong or Yoosung, Hyesung and Happy (Jaeyoung). Sugyeom is older than Jaeyoung and Baek Jun is older than Sugyeom. Also, Baek Jun is the one who gave our Jaeyoung his stage name.
In 2018, a certain "Dream Boy incident" happened. Due to this, Sunshine entertainment had to sell their internal assets leading to merger with DIVE entertainment. This merger is actually sus as the acquisition happened within a month after the dream boy incident happened (if my understanding is right??). Also, Jaeyoung got dragged in this incident too and he also incurred penalty fees but we still don't know how (Im not sure with this since ch. 6 is AI trans). Also, in 2018, Baek Jun left due to "health reasons." It is unknown whether this "health reasons" and "dream boy incident" are related. But the fact that, Baek Cheolmin, the director of the 1st division in DIVE and was revealed to be a drug dealer in ch. 16, shares the same surname with him makes it the more sus.
One thing is clear, Jaeyoung became the main vocalist when Baek Jun left. Jaeyoung's performances were probably often compared to Baek Jun due to this, as suggested in ch. 14.
Drugging of Jaeyoung. It is still unknown whether the "dream boy incident" is this incident. Jaeyoung was one day called by his "Hyung" (and by process of elimination, it suggests that it's Baek Jun) and from what the panels suggested in ch. 11, he was forced to drink the water with H-100 drug (Also, from what the panels suggested in Ch. 14, with the bed, and the position of Baek Jun's head in Ch. 16, I am not liking where this is going.) *Furthermore, he doesn't remember what happened after he drunk it.
Ch. 25 reveals that Baek Jun is possibly a person with drug addiction. Jaeyoung went to the hotel to get Baek Jun and make him stop taking "Happy" (possibly the H-100). In doing so, Baek Jun forced him to drink it mouth to mouth (still counts as sexual harassment). Further assault is still mot confirmed.
H-100 is the drug that Baek Cheolmin's organization is circulating among clubs. Our Bokyung Noona (Favela Bar Manager) is trying to catch them. So basically, the drug fucks with your serotonin production. It triggers a massive surge of serotonin causing extreme ecstasy and once the ecstasy is gone, it castrates all desire related to happiness. Furthermore, when the taker is exposed to intense light, the drug delivers them exposive euphoria.
This drug affected the way Jaeyoung feels happiness, fucked his sleeping and caused him to experience fainting, vomiting, or nausea when exposed to extreme brightness or strobe lights. Which probably caused the stage accident in ch. 5. I think the stage accident caused much damage and since he can't perform anymore, he needs to also pay for contract breach which was the penalty fees they we're talking in ch. 6???? I am still not sure about this. Also, I still don't know whether this accident is the "dream boy incident".
Then In 2019, Dream Boy announced Hiatus which is basically just disbandment as the members are now in their own paths and the group didn't recover from the scandal. Until now, when Dream boy is brought up, they bring up "the group with a lot of controversy". Also, now, Sookyum or Sugyeom is the actor hyung and Yuseong or Yoosung seems like an athlete now. And according to Yuseong, Hyesung is holed up in his room and won't answer calls. Seems like he's a streamer now.
In 2020, Jaeyoung started working in the convenience store and various part time jobs although his contract with the DIVE is still active, probably due to the penalty fees.
In 2021, Seungmin debuted. It seems like he wasn't born in Korea. *He does speak Brazilian Portuguese (according to some comments here) based on Ch. 16.
*October 8, 2023 - Sugyeom was drinking in a club. Jaeyoung went to him worried he'll be photographed. *His great concern could be (1) due to the idol images in Korea, (2) being reminded of what happened with his drugging incident, it might have also been in a club and someone took photos. This is when Jaeyoung and Seungmin met. This is also the day that Favela manager, Bokyung, caught a dealer of H-100 but the operation was a bust but the dealer promised to connect them to a higher up which was Baek Cheolmin. It seems like Seungmin and her are tracking down dealers to find the "right drug" for some reason. And this contact with dealers happens, in Room 9 of Favela??? Not sure. ⁃Ch. 24, Manager asks why is this drug circulating in Korea in the first place. (My theory is it is mostly circulating with idols because of the highs and lows between shows and it is korea, of course, with its prominently high numbers of suicide rate). *Up until October 21, 2023, Jaeyoung is sending his location for each day to a person with a contact name of a happy emoji.
*October 22, 2023, it seems like this Jaeyoung didn't send his location for the day causing this person to call him multiple times. Ch. 16 is the continuation of the midnight ch. 11 happened. I think that this happy emoji person is most likely Baek Jun because of his possible connection to the drugging incident, his long term connection with Jaeyoung, the fact that he was the one who gave him the stage name, and the way he was probably looking at Jaeyoung in their group photo in Ch. 14. From the way that same group photo in Jaeyoung's room was ripped to get rid of Baek Jun in the picture, I don't think they have a "happy" relationship right now.
