Yeah i thought they were talking about the uncle, on the novel as far as i am aware it will be a while because it is a mess of her mother was married of but then was kidnapped so it will be long until we see her bio dad

Ok so from what i understand she is valers sister (sione) daughter with like a "god" called Esther (he was like a knight from a god that fought other gods to delay the apocalypse, he was severely cursed too).
So Sione was forced to marry Ludwig that is obsessed with her but she hates him becauseshe is a creep and becauseof him she is separated from Valer, at one point Ludwig kidnapped Arellyn saying he is her father but Arel discovered her mother past and that she would go and visit Esther in his domain and Esther did end up falling for Sione, but Sione will end up sacrificing herself to save Arellyn
