For red flag tops I agree but it’s a painful pattern I’ve seen in this community of people expecting the top to the a faithful dog to the bottom. I’ve been on this website for almost a decade and you’d be surprised how many people think that way. I used to defend the top at Love Nest just because people were shitting in him for being the emotionally weaker/vulnerable one.
Omg I love emotionally vulnerable tops. What are these people even on? Do they think a top has to be perfect and completely selfless, even at the cost of hiding their own feelings? I swear, the lack of media literacy here is astounding. I think a lot of these stupid takes are coming from readers who treat the story as a pure self-insert fantasy where one character must unconditionally cater to the other. When a top actually shows insecurity, trauma, or cries, some readers view it as weakness rather than complex character writing.

Am I the only one who understands the top? I mean he doesn't know what actually happened. From his point of view he is right like the bottom did lie to him and gave him wrong ideas and even asked his friends to get rid of him. So his anger is valid and the thing about asking him for sex he is the one who is doing the favor and he even asked if it felt good. So I don't think he is the Red flag.
