I'm guessing that since he and Jahyeon were in love, he was made into a false dirty for Jahyeon's main family branch. I think Jahyeon felt angry because his past-self remembers Muhan disappearing or agreeing to this treatment. The trauma of being starved, the trauma of being scared for your life, and the ascension at death left the original weak with very little memories of his original self.
