Honestly, while I feel bad for her. I think it could be seen as karma. She completely abandoned her own son and showered the other in love and affection. Then she ended up with neither son really seeing her as a mother. Sounds like a balance. (〜￣△￣)〜
I dont feel bad for her. Its like the ML said doting on and favoring Jonas while ignoring her own son was his mother's decision. Its why he doesnt feel anything when learning how Jonas really felt about Sophia. She never showed him loyalty and devotion as mother, why would he feel that towards her as a son?

Sophia was worsr than the Duke. Atleast the Duke not favor either child (because he did not care for anyone but Sophia) and knew Jonas was a piece of work. The reason why Jonas got away with doing so much bad in his life and had others pick up his mess was because of Sophia coddling him.
