Yea this pearl boy manhwa is pure romanticization of abuse (and so is jinx let's be honest) and this author has a blood kink too probably, but by readable I mean it has atleast some degree of a plot that's different than most bl.
To me jinx isn't unique or uncliche because I've read mingwa's older works, I can see her recycling all the past shit that made her popular and stuff it into a standard bl slop manhwa she is the mother of slop bl manhwa genre to me.
Like @lemonkun, I also think Jinx is trash, I skipped pages and even chapters like crazy on that one. I especially dislike the way the uke is portrayed - he has the personality of a fking Amoeba!! He is so meek and such a doormat that it makes mad!!!
At least on Ignite the Dawn the uke is feisty and tries to fight back, and even though the characters are poorly written and the action is confusing and unnecessary violent, the dynamic between the seme and the uke is entertaining and it makes me curious to see what happens next.
In Jinx there was no curiosity, no attraction, no mystery, no nothing, it was plain obvious from the beginning how the story will unfold :(
