Agree, when I had seen the spoiler that she was going to leave I was annoyed & questioned what would be strong enough for her to leave. When I started reading the novel & now seeing it drawn it is easy to see that's literally their only option. Because if they both continued as is they would suufucate each other. It's gets more intense with the following episodes. Even here you can start seeing Maxis frustration with herself
True true. They need time apart. Their devotion to each other is there but they need to discover outside of themselves first so they can be better for each other. It's just
THIS IS SO GOOD! I mean I know it's already good but the way the current chapter showed the hidden strain in the relationship is just waaaay to reminiscent of real life. Peops to the author again! From the current chapter 152 through Maxi's POV and inner thoughts you can actually decipher that the relationship has become and will be stagnant from there and she has slowly identified in herself that there is growth that needs to be done be it consciously or subconsciously but at this point in their relationship it's become like a stale mate of some sorts, traumatic in some parts..I know what will be happening next because of the spoilers and lemme tell ya these have been set up so beautifully by this chapter alone, their emotions weighing heavily on them, what'd be best for them moving forward...simply to put it's growth, they need to both grow as individuals and let the other person breath first before they can fix their relationship..sort of like to be whole you must break into pieces first or something idk I just woke up and might just be rambling but u get the point.
Anyway tldr. maxi needs that time for herself she needs to focus on herself alone and not think of riftan, anatol etc etc for her to find herself, heal,.build self confidence , and to be able to live and love fiercely and enjoy being alive.
