I’m not sure if you’ve read the novel but this was the turning point for me and I got sick of Riftans tantrums.
It’s exhausting to witness his selfishness day and night. When they meet up once again in the campaign I truly don’t think you’ll be saying this about him/agreeing with him.
It’s honestly sickening to see how he treats Maxi. A little cuddle and forehead kiss does not make up for the emotional and physical abuse he puts her through, the accusations he throws at her. Are we forgetting how he MANHANDLED her right after witnessing her father PHYSICALLY abusing her? How are these things going over peoples heads?
i might be the only one with this opinion, but
im on Riftan side on this. I dislike how the princess think this is the only way to overpower her father. I feel like they think that the only way to bring down the father is for Maxi to make sacrifices.
And i understand why Riftan is so overprotective, and it is not an exaggeration for him to always be anxious on what Maxi is trying to do, seeing how she always ended up in danger.
Yes he is not the best in communication but he just want to make sure Maxi can live in leisure. He still need to fix his verbal output that makes Maxi feels small but his action is just a husband worrying about his wife.
