I did enjoy it but...

I *did* enjoy it a lot, and I mean a lot, because there was no favoritism and the story had a sort of refreshing concept of light power, but overall my favorite was how equally the dad and the grandfather treated the children....until chapter 42, my worst fear for this manwha: Tiel becoming head of the house, I really hate it when they try to make a circumstance where the FL always ends up becoming head of the house when it was meant for someone else who has been training for it for a VERY long time (in this case, her brother); I dont know if I'll continue it or not but this just gave me a MAJOR ick.
Edit: ok so a lot of people have been telling me "oh but its only temporary since shes gonna marry the prince and probs become empress" and i get that, I understood from reading it, my only problem is that they are like super powerful and rich and they could've found like multiple ways to solve the problem instead of making her head of house, but either way idk, sure its temporary but keep in mind shes gonna be head UNITLL SHE GETS MARRIED! thats gonna take years, her dad and brother could've been head at that time and earn some merit but no this stupid kid that has no training whatsoever is gonna become head of the house to avoid a problem they havent even looked for other ways to solve. I might continue it if it turns out ok but other than that there are very slim chances I will.

But she’s only going to be the head until she becomes an adult. They already had the conversation that she’s only going to be the nominal head and once she becomes an adult, the position of the head will go back to the dad and eventually the older brother.

I’m assuming she most likely won’t since she’ll want to marry the prince. IIRC the whole reason they did this was so she wouldn’t have to enter the palace bc they imprinted

It's so obvious that she will end up marrying the prince and be the crown princess. The emperor has no heir besides the prince. And she likes the prince and wants to be forever with him.(she told him that) T-T It's so obvious her being the head is only temporary until she comes of age and makes the decision. which is why Im dropping this book bc Why can't ma girl just be single and powerful and live happily ever after, and u can tell by how the prince was so possessive of her during the trip. I don't like that. Trying to keep her away from ppl like he tried with poor Karl. I hate how they treated Karl like some dirty thing that doesn't have feelings. I get it, royalty, noble, etc... but still.

I could be wrong but I think the actual reason she’s becoming head is not to protect her but because she has the power of light. If I remember correctly a few chapters ago (don’t remember which one) there was a prophecy about a child being born in one of the way leopard families with the power of light and they are supposed to become head for that reason. But then again I just might be remembering wrong, but I think this is the reason not just protecting her and I get what your saying because it’s a common thing in manhwas like this and the author might be wanting to use that trope while making it different and more relevant to the story.
