Anyway… ML and MC still get married. But MC knows ML only married him out of responsibility, not love. He keeps torturing himself thinking ML doesn’t love him and doesn’t trust him either.
Then later we find out ML actually agreed to marry MC because of his grandfather’s will If ML wanted to inherit the family fortune, he had to get married. Since he didn’t want to marry his fiancée, he used MC’s pregnancy as a way out.
Obviously ML’s family was NOT happy with this.
Even ML’s friend (the guy who hired MC) called him a gold digger Since omegas in heat have a higher chance of getting pregnant, everyone was suspicious anyway.
Then after MC learns the truth, the stress affects the baby and they end up in the hospital. ML starts regretting everything.
They spend some time apart to calm down, then eventually work things out. HE

Honestly both MC and ML are kinda messy. Like… MC knew from the start that ML didn’t love him, but he still stayed. Chinese BL actually has a term for couples like this: jerk top x pushover bottom
Is there a continuation cause what happens after that. My mood went off when I heard the chinese part cause there are some c novels that made me fall into disgust and misery from that kind of relationship. Ughh. Makes me want to gag. Especially when the tips are clueless and become so incompetent in decision making. Gag ..

I can’t really say that ML didn’t love MC, because MC caught ML’s attention from the very beginning. ML kept helping him with work and taking care of him ever since they first met.
But the problem is that MC wasn’t honest either. Since middle school, he had been stealing other people’s things, hanging out with bad crowds, and even went to jail a couple of times for theft. Later, he fell out with those friends and dropped out of school.
ML had been digging into MC’s background, so it makes sense that he became suspicious.( MC been living in anxiety bc hiding his past from ML)
Even so, ML still kept helping MC despite not fully trusting him. ML was confessed that he’s in love with MC and he just refused to accept his own feelings.( bc of age gap, their lifestyle, etc…)
But like ML actually had another way to cancel the engagement. His fiancée had been living with someone else for 5 years during their engagement, so he could’ve easily used that as a reason to call off the wedding.
Well, that’s basically the whole story.
When MC was in the hospital, ML finally confessed that he loved him, but MC didn’t accept it right away. So ML suggested that they take some time apart to figure out whether they truly loved each other or not.
After that, they still raised the child together, but they didn’t live together anymore. ML started struggling with insomnia because his partner wasn’t around, blah blah blah
Meanwhile, MC went to college and started living his own life. At that point, he wasn’t dependent on ML anymore, so he became less insecure about their relationship and finally started seeing both of them as equal individuals instead of relying on ML emotionally all the time.But yeah, they still ended up together anyway…
He did have a vasectomy test, and his duck had recanalized on its own. But an omega still has a high chance of getting pregnant during heat. He thought the MC spent his heat with the blonde. It happened a couple of days before the MC and ML slept together. The blonde isn’t cool either. If you didn’t sleep with someone, just say it. Why say yes just to save face?

But ML was skeptical about whether the baby was actually his or not because before the “accident,” everyone knew MC spent his heat with the blonde guy (even though they didn’t actually do it). And mind you, nobody knew they didn’t sleep together
So ML called the blonde guy and told him MC was pregnant, then straight up asked if he was the dad. Of course the blonde got mad — they had just broken up, and now a few months later MC is already pregnant Blondie basically said, “When the baby is born and gets a DNA test, if it’s mine, I’ll take responsibility.”
So now ML thinks there’s a chance the blonde guy is the father.
