I don't think Lucian and others are gay. I would argue they are pansexual. In the original, they fell in love or became obsessed with their "soul or personality" due to the situation or environment they were in. Lucian being yandere is not the "twist". In the original, he was yandere for that dude. The reason why Rachel tried being a nice sister- is because otherwise 1. Rachel gets killed - 2. Lucian kills his obsession. So to save herself and protect Lucians lover was Rachels target from the beginning.

I know that he went yandere in the original story. But I thought that he was going to be healthier. I mean he was supposed to be better than the original story. She was helping him get confidence and knowing to push share and not to become jealous and all this stuff. She was supposed to be a positive influence on his most vulnerable years and I guess it didn't make a difference?
