She also knew about the game so when the Melphina was different situation than how the game turned out, she went to meet her and had a nice heart to heart chat. Cedric was a d*ck when he first met and treated Melphina as we can see from the first chapter. But later on it is revealed that reason why he acted like that is because of his family circumstances and his experience with his previous fiance. When Melphina knew about the reason from Marie, she was understanding of his point of view.
When Alexis heard from Melphina saying that if she hadn't gotten her memories right before the wedding but earlier she would've done whatever she could to prevent the marriage, he was shocked, bjt the ones that were most flustered is Marie and Cedric XD because they cant imagine life without her. (Also Marie calling Melphina sister is so cute UwU)

Firstly What does OI mean XD ? Also, Iirc the kidnappers were actually like villagers from another villagers who wanted to take villager as hostage in exchange for food to the lord, but that someone had to kidnap was the lord herself....Melphina was kidnapped while Marie was away for a moment, when Marie was crying non-stop and panicking trying to find her which was so unlike how calm and cool she usually was. And when Cedric heard the news he rode a horse nonstop pushing it to arrive back to the house, a trip that normally need days shortened it into 1~2 days, showing how important Melphina is and his desperation.
Kidnapping the lord especially the duchess is a grave crime that calls for execution on the spot. In which Cedric would've done without hesitation if it weren't for Melphina. Since it was their first crime Melphina forgave them and descalated the situation by inviting them back to her region as workers.

I remember it mostly about the incident made Melphina know that she is now different the way people now cherish her. There's a flashback with her having memory of never being loved, not by her parents and not by her husband (Alexis), but seeing how the reaction of people who are wishing for her safety (the Enkar villagers are even ready to grab any weapon they can find to fight the “kidnappers”). She finally realized she is someone who is loved.

Question, i read the damn thing up to when the nephew snuck to her territory(i have no pity for alexis. I dont care about his past, he could have cominicated his reasons, instead he badly hurt her. Hell even if there was no romance he should have still been more attentive to her) and if that annoying duke cant have kids with her without her dying due to her weak magic, how does he become the ML? Or do they even have children. Because I find it terribly unfair that she who wants children and a family so badly and wont get the chance, or the complex situation of succession seeing how the newphew is much older and the current heir. Its just not fair for our MC, and shes one I deeply respect
