It’s weird tbh how they all seem to feel worse for grandma and how she must be feeling rather than hyesung, it’s like glorifying grandma and making her the victim when she isn’t (and she clearly is profiting from all of this even if not in a nefarious way, she got a damn house ffs)
Indeed, it's already too late to evoke empathy from us readers. From this point on, it just reeks of emotional manipulation.
You can forgive but never forget. I still remember how the parents of Hye-sung came crawling back to him when they found out his husband is a celebrity and rich to boot; neither of them holds any sympathy from me for abandoning Hye-sung, especially the mother. It's unfair that she gets rewarded for doing absolutely wrong in the first place without Hye-sung's knowledge.
