Disappointed and not hopeful

I wish this would end up with Hyesung exposing how bad his mother made him feel and how much her leaving ruined any last chances of a more normal life he had. Best in a way Byul also understands and sides with him (cause what the hell is everyone doing?!)
Hyesung can forgive her, it's a sign of growth, but that doesn't mean he has to accept her back into his life.
I wish that his family wouldn't basically force him to somehow resolve it and see her again.
(force because if everyone in the house likes a person, takes care of the person, secretely talks to each other about that person behind your back AND says you are basically unreasonable for not talking to them as they are 'someone you can reason with', then yes, it feels forced)

I'm afraid it will end in an overly happy and 'good' way to give everyone a good feeling and 'destroy tension' that might make them look like an unstable couple (like they used to be) or cause Byul some conflicts or whatever the thought process is with this stuff.

I absolutely despise it when stories make an effort to show how bad parents messed a character up and why they are estranged, just to easily become happy-go-lucky again and force them to make up for a 'happy story'.
