Byul grew up fine, not the same as Hyesung

Insane that some people thing it’s the EXACT same: https://www.mangago.me/home/mangatopic/22270399/

This came up in my head due to that topic link above.

Sorry for the long reply, this isn’t an attack whatsoever. I just want to clarify. Let’s not compare Hyesung’s situation. He never really wanted the baby and was baby trapped by Dojin gaslit him into having the baby. Dojin even paid him as if he’s a surrogate, and Hyesung said no and just gave birth and left. He was planning to stay but overheard something and anxiously left. He was barely a minor, I don’t remember though. He wasn’t abandoned in the same way Hyesung’s mother abandoned Hyesung.

It is still abandonment I guess in strict emotional terms but it’s just not comparable, because Hyesung’s mom abandoned him for nearly his whole life and started a new family while knowing she left him in the hands of an abuser. Hyesung was being gaslighted into thinking it’s fine and was being hidden by Dojin’s friend, he never really had a choice after being raped. Did it still hurt byul?

Sure, but Hyesung was there for him in about every milestone. It’s something he would’ve never found out as a newborn unless told. I’d be more pissed off that my mother was basically forced to give birth, but I’m guessing Byul doesn’t know. He’s a kid so he shouldn’t have to hear all of this of course.

I just wouldn’t call it strictly abandonment, considering he didn’t leave Byul in the hands of an abuser. He left him in a safe place where Dojin would come and take care of him. It wasn’t abuse in the slightest. Honeyhawk isn’t completely wrong that Byul doesn’t know what it’s like to be living after abandonment, he was still taken care of, Hyesung came back pretty soon, Byul received attention love etc, all the things Hyesung didn’t.

It’s just not the same. Hence why it’s incomparable.
Thanks for coming to my Ted talk!

This!! Fargo loves brushing shit under the rug and idk why I continue reading. I like the art so I am just here, boiling my blood. Why does Hyesung have to solve shit with his bitchass birther?? She ain't even worth being called a mom.

You are so right! i don't get how they're the same it's so stupid. He doesn't have to talk to her or forgive her

Preach with your reply to that dumb comparison topic.
You’re right. I hope it’s just for closure and that it doesn’t mean he will let her back into his life so easily.

They also mention misogyny like how? The granny was literally bad for abandoning him his whole life. It’s more misogynistic to try and compare two victims in the ‘bottom’ role while not mentioning Dojin’s lying ass.

Same here. I’m just glad Hyesung made the choice to finally see her, hopefully it’s the final and it doesn’t mean she’ll come into his life so easily. Byul better not blame Hyesung if his bond with granny is ruined.

I'd be glad if he pointed out all the differences between them. And thats why she doesn't have the right to be apart of his life. Because you're abusive father said you didn't want to see her is a poor excuse, and not regularly checking in on your child to make sure they are doing well is even worse.

Right. I will respect Hyesung’s choice if he wants to let her back, but only a little, not majority.
