If nothing else, please allow me to validate that the life expectancies and fears of growing into adulthood (now, more than ever) is completely valid and not unusual at all. How we deal with our stress is unique and sometimes we struggle to find healthy ways to cope. Not knocking on BDSM at all or any other kinks, but everything needs healthy boundaries and nearly anything in excess quickly goes from mundane to harmful.
