Hell yeah we're reading the same story, what do you mean? I don't like him, you can see that everything he does is for the FL but for his selfish reasons with his background plots too. That's a nono for me. I'll say this again, i hope he isn't the one who told the FL to punish the ML. If he is... then the death was a great choice for him.
You're too focused on "what if he did it?" and "what if he ordered it?" He hasn't done anything yet, like I said, live in the present. Compared to the other villains, he's less evil; he doesn't mistreat the protagonist, he doesn't do anything physically to her—there are much worse villains. Yes, his plan is for his own benefit, but that's basically what anyone would do; everyone wants to benefit themselves. But he's not harming the protagonist that much; he's letting her have her affair. Now, if he does something later, you already angry at him for something he might have done. Chill out
But I'm confused, why should i chill out if he's one of the villains? I mean, i don't get why you're trying to make people hate him less. Plus everyone has the right to express their feelings, even if there's a possibility for them to change later on. You said it yourself.. if he's making us feel this way now, imagine how we'll feel if he openly does something. You can already see that he's a selfish and calculating person and the reason he's not harming the FL is only because he holds her dear, but apparently that does not stop him from doing harm around her. So my point is that i will always hate and be distrustful to a guy who comes at me with hidden malice, even if he has some kind of feelings for me. So, let us freely hate him.
