Yes! Youre completely correct. I genuinely love this series and am disappointed the earlier chapters dissuaded so many people from finishing it. Its a bit convoluted buts hes actually so incredibly sweet and loving AND a good dad when he finally got the chance
I actually like MLs personality and how emotive he is. Awkward guys are more fun than the ones without any personality. His only major flaw was neglecting his daughter, but both of them did before the personality switch. He's also VERY justified being weary of FL at first, she was violently abusive until now. I'd think she's scheming too
