Don't forgive him easily

I know I’m going against the majority here, but I seriously hope Yuta doesn’t forgive him that easily. Why can’t he just stay the red flag he’s supposed to be? At least then I wouldn’t have to feel bad for him. I hate when the uke turns into some angel who forgives the seme for all the abuse, abandonment, and betrayal just because the seme suddenly feels regret. There are already so many stories like that, and I’m tired of it. And let’s be real he’s only paying attention to Yuta now because he’s alone and got dumped.

He left Yuta behind and completely forgot about him when he still had his hyung back then. He didn’t even care that Yuta was still being used, abused, raped and he chose to believe a lie and used that lie as an excuse to live guilt-free, even though deep down he knew he could’ve at least checked.

I feel like Yuta is so unpredictable that just bc he loves SH now doesn’t mean he trusts him and we have no idea what he’s gonna do to SH (what kind of tests) until he finally feels ready to trust him. I do like their relationship dynamic but I am a Yuta supporter thru and thru so however badly he treats SH is # deserved

If the author is determined to make them end up together, then she seriously needs to make Seunghyun suffer through a proper regret arc. Abandoning and forgetting Yuta for an entire decade isn't something that should be brushed aside with a few apologies and emotional scenes

Even now, I don't see much evidence that Seunghyun has truly chosen Yuta. Most of his actions come across as guilt-driven rather than love-driven. It feels like he wants Yuta to survive because he couldn't live with the guilt if Yuta died, not because he's reached the point where he genuinely can't imagine a future without him.
