I took it as being ironic that they’re saying they hate men and reading a BL. How am I supposed to take it

It just doesn't make sense lol how is it ironic? You genuinely believe this person hates every single man? Why? Because that's how a man would mean it the other way round? And what does that mean to you? Like would you be scared they're gonna hurt you if they say that, like a woman would be the other way round, or what - what's the issue on a personal and collective level? Or perhaps do we think, using our critical thinking skills, they might be *responding* to an even broader inequality in this context, and don't actually hate men individually, but as a collective in a time where they were objectively an oppressive force to women trying to prevent them from having functional rights?

u're dense af but to "elaborate". yes, it's a general statement but taking the context in consideration (i think we learned context clues in elementary), they don't mean the main character or ur father, they meant the controlling teacher depicted in this chapter that we all just read.

I’m sorry. The most recent chapter said I read it when I didn’t so I assumed I was still on the chapter before that where it was just starting the backstory. I just read it and I understand the original comment. When everyone was posting about the recent chapters I thought it was the chapters desire scans uploaded then deleted and I hadn’t read those.

yall arguing for what?? yes it was me reacting to the teacher's horrible actions but i do also just generally hate men as a collective and how everything is centered around male comfort. men have been the sole reason for the current downfall of humanity but we dont have to get into that rn. its not that rare for BL readers to hate men.
