Idk Iād rather protect my peace because he clearly has trauma he needs to unpack and a being in a relationship where one person wants to be out and the other tries to prevent them from doing so is never going to be healthy.
Not wanting to hide your relationship is understandable but c'mon, an ultimatum wasn't the way to go here, not when your boyfriend is already traumatised and would rather run away than be outed again. Coaxing him home to talk things out would've been better..
