Uke is under the impression (only because he is so blinded by his own circumstances/insecurities, he is unable to see it any other way despite seme telling him confidently) that seme is making a hasty decision but it's not hasty, neither did it come across as hasty. I liked that he agreed to not quit at the end but only so he could put the uke in a difficult position by making that condition of sleeping with him and see how he reacts to something he doesn't want. Professional sportsmen, celebrities, people in the public eye etc are put under so much pressure for the sake of money and profit and media lensing, without considering what they want for themselves, and this is especially bad in korea where celebrities are pushed to taking their own lives due to the extreme judgment and pressure media and consumers put on them, as if they aren't human. They are required and expected to give their life to the machine, so much of their life is dictated by upper echelons and the system, that they never get to have agency, autonomy or peace of mind, so they run ragged until they fall. And when they do, they are criticised even more.
It was good to read that seme has thought it out properly and is so resolute. I like this type of energy. He did what he wanted to do when he wanted to do and then decided to stop when he wished. On his own terms. That's well portrayed agency and grit.
