Rare that I come across an opinion on here that I wholeheartedly agree with, the emotions being empathized through this story is some of the most realistic feelings I have seen from a revenge story it’d be hard to trust even those that you should be able to bear your heart to but when you have already lived a life under someone’s strings getting manipulated and abused as early as they can remember it’s really hard to open it back up and try to trust again because you can’t be betrayed if you never trusted them in the first place but she believed in the bronte family when she was young because it was all she knew what they told and taught her never reality or truth so ofc she’s cautious paranoid and scared all at once since she feels their kindness but she also remembers the pain from believing in a sliver of empathy which led her down the gallows so it’s incredibly hard to allow that trust to form as her mind is hardwired to survival mode and she’s surviving through the spite and pain from those that used her even though she still desires a normal life. I do hope they keep showing their emotions very clearly like this and show the healing process properly because I truly have high hopes for this story so far ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

Ngl her emotions are completely valid and even realistic. It is incredibly difficult for her to trust ANYONE, and it’s oddly refreshing that we get to see her emotional state swaying constantly (unlike other regression manhwas where the fl falls head over heels for the ml even after intense trauma). Her ready to face death or harm herself so quickly is a little frustrating; however, in her eyes, she only lives for revenge. The fl takes several risks, but some of her actions and plans aren’t sought out to the end (the ml then steps in to save her). It’s almost like the author is forcing her to be somewhat of a “damsel in distress” which is an interesting decision for a character that was presented early on as strong willed and persistent. Besides her emotional state, the rest of the plot is decent at best. It’s your typical “I regressed back to when I was younger” trope plus the ml starts off the story with the so typical “she’s different because she has no visible attraction to me” bs. I can probably take a guess on where the plot is heading next, but it’s a good pass the time read.
