I guess it makes it easier to justify abuse from randos and from the seme. That's another love Koreans seem to have, according to their manhwas... (I wish they would give us green flags instead)

What is with koreans and their love to being in debt or family members dying? Literally like 90 % of manhwas out there is uke in debt or saving money to keep some of their family members alive. It’s getting tiring. Just me?
