Jingi said that because he knows the uncle would target Myeongil just to get back at him. And he also mentioned before that everyone who got involved with his uncle ended up dead, so if Myeongil gets dragged into any of that, there's a real chance he'll end up dead too.
No he meant he'll kill anyone connected to his uncle and Myeongil will only get in his way if he becomes emotionally involved with him. The death metaphor with all the worms is Jingi thinking Myeongil will be in danger (uncle might come for him) if he involves him in his revenge.

On love triangles. Before, whenever i saw a cover that includes 3 people i got happy, hoping that would be a cute throuple or a vee relationship.
