I think the general consensus here has always been that Heejae is inherently evil. People call him all kinds of names, but they also find him fascinating iykwim
Cause ppl sympathize more with Compton and his pain after his talk with Garam and his his attachment to Heejae. It’s not a switch up ppl are rightfully frustrated with him doesn’t matter if uts in character of him to be this annoying and mean. I can only speak for myself but I get mad at everyone ( including Garam) depending on what they do in the chapters, and I’m annoyed cause it’s so obvious he liked ts the LEAST he could have done is a small acknowledgement even if he doesn’t really gaf abt Compton ykwim?

Nah we’ve always been mad at Heejae while loving him at the same time. I don’t support anything he does but I love him as a character his complexity,depth and especially how warm he is with Garam. You can love a character and still be mad at or disapprove of their actions at the same time yk. Atleast that's the case for me.
