I think the issue is Yuwon fawns due to past trauma, and it makes it easy for bad people to take advantage of him or to harass him. Because they see he won't report it-- not only that but he'll do the work and still strive for his peers approval despite how they treat him.

I have an hard time believing someone who get bullied that hard is not ugly. I talk from personal experience, I got bullied from age 4 to 15 for the same reason as Yuwon but when I got cuter -I'm not even attractive mind you- they stopped being so harsh and sometimes they even feel bad for me. Ps:I'm almost 18

If I remember correctly, it’s because he stepped in to defend Seongmin when he was a new hire. Pretty sure it was more of a passing comment by Seongmin, but from other times, Yuwon's bullying situation has always started (or escalated) because he stepped in to defend somebody and he just takes it bro

I agree, he seems to displays a lot of fawning responses. He’s actually intervened a lot for bully victims it’s sad but I think in his mind by making himself the main target and taking the heat off of others it’s his way of playing hero. He does this with Dohun in the past, Seungmin and another victim in school who ppl say was the main target before Yuwon basically stuck his nose in made himself the next target.

I'm sorry you were bullied and that you were treated differently as your appearance changed. That's not right. But I agree, It's possible Yuwon isn't overly attractive, but I think he looks pretty standard when compared to the other characters. Another commenter remarked that Yuwon interferes a lot when others are bullied, I think that personality trait could have provoked it too, and the fawning just prolonged it. Either way it's awful.

That's so true. I think poor Yuwon has been so neglected and conditioned that he holds strong values, a sense of justice, for others who are abused(his morals wane when the victims are morally compromised, hence why he's willing to forgive murder but not bullying or manipulation), but when it happens to him he freezes and fawns. It's all really sad.

I think if his appearance was the reason or a factor it would’ve been highlighted more but he’s drawn to be just average. He was just a cute kid even. But bullies can smell our weakness. Because they’re usually insecure and looking for weaknesses in others when you’re quiet, poor and a push over they will take advantage of that. And if u don’t really fight back or like….escape? From your own personality not only do people bully you but even everyone else turns away from you and acts like it isn’t happening. And I think attractiveness matters more when girls bully each other. Boys don’t really care about that.

It's obvious the bullying comes from his personality but looks obviously affect it too. I also have to disagree here... If a group of girls want to pick on you, they will no matter what you look like... It's guys that get affected by a girls looks when it comes to bullying(my personal experience I always had a majority of males in class). I don't really know about male on male bullism but I noticed they still tend to pick on the "uglier" ones.
