Questions to novel readers

Not a novel reader but I've spoilers pretty thoroughly and there's some excerpts there. So I'll try my best to answer:

1) Angel did it to get at Harold(I think this was his name). His situation is sad. He was sold (based on old tweet by ZIG but this could have changed in the actual book serialization) and was shared with a few alphas. ╥﹏╥

2) We don't know much about them atm. We only get glimpeses of them mentioned by others in the novel series. But it's very sad. There's supposed to be a novel about them. IDK, if it's already released in Korea or will be released later. ZIG has quite a few novels in the miller siblings-pittman(so far only Keith but Angel and Harold will get theirs eventually, and possibly other Angel's children???) universe spin offs in the works. (●'◡'●)

3) Well, wouldn't anyone want to runaway being kept locked up by the man who shared him with other men to force him to give birth their children. I think it was mentioned in passing that Angel give birth to extreme alpha children only. T_T

Lastly in my delulu, I like to ignore the canon Angel's situation. It hurts too much. I'd like to imagine in my version that Angel managed to escaped from Harold and achived his happily after in some small town. Living his the best he can despite the trauma.

So Harold is the main husband or something? Or all of the husbands are in equal power? Cause you mentioned Harold passed Angel to other guys. Eaww. And thank you for the response! I forgot but Keith is dom alpha or alpha?

I think Harold is the main one. He was mentioned to be quite abusive in the Miller's siblings parents' story and his name came up the most whenever Keith parents are mentioned. Yes, Keith is a dom alpha. Actually, there's supposed to be a novel abt Keith brother (idk if half from Angel, or another child by Angel and Harold's) by the name Kiss the stranger or something...

Keith's half brother Hayden Shepard is only a side character in Kiss the stranger, his novel will be "Kiss me bait".

Wtf. are they treating angel as a breeding machine or something? Even from this story keith was unapologetic to him(angel) someone who literally gave birth to him. In that one chp he was like, that omega should be chained up for good or something. That makes me so sad if you have any more spoilers can you spoil me. Please tell me how the dynamic of the whole story is

Yes, they treat him as a breeding machine because only dom omegas can give birth to dominant children. Dom alpha children are highly desired and there's very few dom omegas that unfortunate ones like Angel get sold probably by their parent/s or through human trafficking ;-;. There's no actual story, yet. And I hope there's never will.

While I love and enjoy ZIG's story, not everything though. there's been some hit and miss for me. I can't deny that's she's not that strong of a writer or at least the adaptation team might have not done her justice(?). I've yet to actually read her work(I do plant to, eventually). Based on her story adaptations so far. While she has a pretty consistent characterisation, good at creating romantic and sexual tensions between her leads, and has good presentation. When it comes to world building, cause and effect of toxic romances like how Lee Won quickly dismissing Caesar's r*pe without any major trauma from Lee Won, or handling the aftermath with care and nuance. I find those to be her weakest areas. So I don't trust her to handle Angle's story with the nuance that it deserves. So really, I don't want her to ever publish Angel and Harold's story! Let it be a background knowledge that we learn from others. I think not everything has to be told in explicit. Leaving it to interpretations and imaginations is good enough.

Speaking of which, with how basically eugenics is in a lot of abo verse being quite present in their stories. I'm sad we've yet to have bl abo that would touch on it and be a central theme of the story. The closest we got was boss, bitch, baby abo sidestory. This aspect has so much potential! I want some competent writer to write something like this. While we're at this let's throw in some law drama as well. It'd be so good!

Seriously people need to understand that its not a literal beast kingdom.. its a human civilization. The writers should really check what morality means.. they'll be writing whatever comes to their mind without even considering the overall background and the deep understanding of a human in that particular situation.. they'll make their mc's behave in the way they like not in the way an actual character with a past like that would act. Real writers are rare but we still need those real bitches to clean the slops thats dragging down everything. Beautiful art isn't everything, everyone needs to understand that..the writers and readers specifically, they'll be down to swallow any slop as long as they have Beautiful art.. (can't deny I'm one of them, but i really need to read some real stories instead of plain old smut, rape, coercion,stockholm syndrome and god knows what)

I hope we never get that story bc given how the author adresse sexual violence in the stories aka very poorly she will definitely have angle fall in love with Harold or some shut like that . No thank you !!

We will get Angel's story, because all the titles for the "Kiss me ..." series are known. The title of this one will be "Kiss me villains". And since the Miller novels will be out of the way after Bliss's is finished, it could be the next one.

I agree. Listen, I love me some toxic romances. But I gotta be in the mood for them. And when I read them, they have to be presented in a very engaging way that pulls me in. That's why I enjoy ZIG's story for when I want something toxic.

BUT my biggest issue with her writing has always been how poorly sexual assaults are handled! And I don't trust her to deliver Angel's story with gravity that it deserves. Because it really seems like the kind of story to be told in more ''serious'' manner? With a nuanced storytelling and telling something deeper about being s*x trafficked and trap in that cycle, no matter how much one wants to escape. The trauma, and coping mechanism and so on. So yeah...

I know these things are part of any smutty romance media, be it for het couples or same sex ones. And I did sign for it, when I click on Kiss me, liar or Low tide twilight. BUT it doesn't hurt to write sexual assaults with more depths and nuanced. Obviously, these stories aren't Tolkien's level of writing but it wouldn't hurt to have a bit edge in them to elevate them from a mindless fun smut to ''hey, there's something deeper to be said''.
