For crying out loud, we already knew her brother was a scumbag for using her, but I guess she was still holding out hope for any redeeming quality. Nope. He's worse than the director, for selling her out to begin with.

Looks like her father really was innocent, coerced to do the deed before dying. If he and his son were already tangled up with these guys, did Tae-Un ever have a chance at a normal life at all? Probably not.

And yet, Director Moon seems to be softening, bit by bit. His own boss warned him, but it was clear he wasn't listening, and he might've even been past listening, because he enjoys her too much. He even paused to look at himself internally, wondering, What the hell am I doing? Is he beginning to feel guilt, or sympathy, even after so many years in the life?

A bodyguard, clothes, a phone...she's like a new little pet he's learning to take care of. He's got a growing attachment, though I don't believe it's at an obsessive level yet. It's getting there, though. She's the shiny, new thing in his world that is very dark.

And even now, the alternative would still be worse for her, passed around by who knows how many men, for the rest of her life.
