You have every right to be confused, there have been a lot of groups translating this novel and the chapter numbers are different for most of them. You can see a lot of them at novelupdates https://www.novelupdates.com/series/diamond-dust/ but be aware a lot are using like AI translations and are quite bad. I also hate that borntonovel and novelib for example ask for money for pirated content that is not even translated well in the first place (╬￣皿￣)凸
This one though is a recent discovery, it has all the chapters for free and seems to do quite a good job at translating https://sites.google.com/view/honeebuni/dd-all-chapters
I warmly recommend reading the whole novel, it is very good and gives some much needed nuance to everything. Otherwise you can start at vol 2, ch 12 like the person above recommended (=・ω・=)
