Or u mean that the dad would agree for a divorce IF she gave up custody/If they ever divorce, he's gonna take full custody? Honestly, she could've tried fighting it. If she had been smarter, she would've tried getting some sort of evidence of abuse. Then take him to trial. Ik our(yes, the whole world) justice system sucks, but she could've tried instead of just letting the kid be in that monster. But ofc, she took the easy way out.
