BJ Alex handled its redemption arc much better, in my opinion. Jiwon was given ample time to realize and reflect on his mistakes, and I appreciated that Dong Gyun had enough self-respect not to immediately take him back. Their reconciliation felt earned because both characters had meaningful growth.
With Jaekyung, though, it felt like it was all talk and very little action. We’re told he’s changed, but the story doesn’t really spend enough time showing that growth in a convincing way. By the end, the resolution felt rushed and unsatisfying.
Overall, the story was pretty disappointing for me. The art style is honestly the main thing that kept me invested until the end. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
