Yep, it's hurtful
They don't know if he's being trying for years to do the same thing by himself, or maybe he decided the seeing her was even more painfully LOT OF MAYBES that they didn't even wonder about, just pushed him to decided to go in one direction.
I don’t know how as a husband and child, you have the nerve and audacity to push your husband and mother to forgive the person who ABANDONED him, then rejected him, and never even groveled to get his forgiveness. Your husband and mother was abandoned as child by that person, you both wouldn’t understand because you grew up in nice families but that is your better half and the person who gave birth to you. It’s so upsetting how much they are both hurting him after all he did for them.
