I've read the novel I know how it goes, i wrote more than the first statement into the comment but it disappeared. They both never conversed, varkas was bounded by an oath. From his perspective, she could have js been a brat if it were to be shown like that atleast but he has always loved her js like she did. She brought color into his life. The subtle little art of his gaze lingering over her in the webtoon tells us a lot. The reason why I say her actions are justified is personally bc i feel really bad for her and i love her. I love varkas too tho
I have no problem with you feeling bad and loving her but you cannot tell me the actions she has committed/ commiting are justifiable? Someone commented previously saying that character can be both empathetic and evil/not a good person; just because their backstory is sad doesn’t not excuse or justify the actions they commit against people.
You are right, she doesn't lash out at those that hurt her, she actively hurts innocent people
I was js talking ab the perspective it's shown from. Her poisoning the sister was not good and definitely not justified but the things she did to her servants are something I consider justified, i was not talking ab her tormenting varkas or hitting him every chance she gets is justified
