I don’t think the series is necessarily the worst and tbh I don’t really fault the mc on a lot of her thoughts and feelings because it’s just how it is when you’re a teen going through trauma and long term neglect. I am just a bit irritated with how the author kinda half asses the issues the teens face / finds fault in the wrong parts of whatever is going on (like for the stepmom in Kanon’s backstory/issue clearly should’ve been the one to step in and take the necessary steps to not literally force a kid to distance himself from his family because you decided to marry into a family w/ a son you don’t feel safe leaving your kid around. It’s not that hard to create safety measures or at least self reflect but whatever man). You can argue it’s teen logic from the characters but idk kinda ass. Anywyas if she doesn’t end up with Kanon/dude with dark hair it’s so over
