I really can’t complain even if I want to.. but what saddens me is that as a writer and a digital artist I can almost feel the mingwa was losing interest in this manhwa. Yes the art was amazing and she def improved ALOT over the years. But, it almost feels like she had this massive vision when creating Jinx but didn’t allow herself to finish that vision before publishing her work.

I don’t know how to explain it but you can tell how much she was milking the bad guy persona for waaaaay too long and when jaekyung finally realised his feelings for Kim Dan, mingwa decided to rush the story until the very end. Maybe a time skip would’ve been great. Maybe from employee-employer with benefits to strangers to lovers would’ve made the story much better but it all ended up feeling too rushed.

Is this a sign that she’ll work on the side couple very carefully? Maybe.. am I looking into this too deeply? I mean how can I not, the only reason why I never dropped this is because I was both too deep into the storyline to drop it and because I was hopeful.

Holy shit this comment is way too long but I wish mingwa milked this era just as she did in the earlier days.

Would I read this again? Maybe for the storyline but I can’t wait to see what the side chapters will bring us!!!

That's a common issue I've also noticed nowadays. Everything is released as it's being made, nothing really goes through a process before being sent out and it leaves things feeling half-baked and going off the rails.

Back then we had people begging for the novels really shows how much the authors used to focus on the storyline rather than just relying on the visuals
