If it was written in historical times, historical but this story wasn't written in those times was it? Just because the theme of the story is historical, it doesn't mean that you can't have modern morals in it, the author is LIVES IN THE MODERN TIMES I would understand the fucked upness of it all if the author wrote this in the 1700s but that's not the case now is it?
