this and the One Room TA dad sits on the same table, I suspect that a huge chunk of Asians including me have such family issues where you can't just cut them off so you wait until they die to be completely free pf guilt and shame but it leaves you permanently traumatized
Gotta love how Yano's daddy issues NEVER FUCKING END! It's honestly so realistic, usually this kind of family problems take many years to be resolved, wether it's resolution through forgiveness or straight up cutting someone off, these are things that stick to our hearts despite any logic or reason, so it's frustrating to see some manga pretend everything can be solved in a couple chapters
