Thats true, there were some negatives about the story and the age gap isn't that bad(ill only start doubting myself if im fine with reading a 10 years age gaps and more) anyway, its great for a short read, could've been better if it was longer and more characters development for both the main characters and their parents per se
the age gap iasnt too unreasonable, but it was the truly parental relationship between the kids that made it off :( the whole “i raised you” vibe that kept coming up was just… oof. but beyond that, lovely themes explored, i enjoyed the characters and the realism included in the storytelling. i was def left wanting more!!
i definitely wanted more of the uncle (may that lovely man find romance!!), and maybe a side story with the neighbor!!! i also wanted more of the parents; the bottom’s family just… disappeared, which i understood, but i wanted more reference to WHAT happened.
and i really would’ve enjoyed even a short scene of the top coming out to his parents. it would’ve been lovely!
