Mc did ask for explanations, got the explanations, and even tho he could understand ml's reasonings, he still decided to not taking their relationship any further and cut ties until ml seriously take care & fix himself (going to therapy, took his meds, stop being insecure & obsessive, etc). It took a few years until they finally meet again.
The moment ML said that his cousin have the same personality and mindset as him, I knew right away that is his doppelganger to trick MC. I need spoiler when MC found out about his lies. Like, what if MC tell a story about a friend who lie a lot and MC hate lie from then on. Will ML confessed or still keep tricking MC until busted?
