If you’re waiting for justice and the crown prince’s downfall, just drop this story now. In the yaoi world, rapists don’t get punished. They get a few regret chapters, a cheap redemption arc, and one “sorry,” then suddenly they’re treated like lovable characters.
The worst part is when bottoms are written to downgrade themselves by forgiving the very people who destroyed them.
This story is no exception. Yaoi authors are way too comfortable romanticizing rapists and abusers instead of giving victims real justice.
