jiwook created the monster that is now juyeon. juyeon was very young when it happened, and jiwook’s actions fundamentally altered his fragile premature psyche & damaged his foundation socially. because of that, the psychological damage never had a clear outlet or resolution, and the physical violence he inflicts on jiwook becomes amplified as a distorted attempt to approximate what was done internally. one response some victims have is a tendency to recreate traumatic situations in an attempt to regain control and an attempt to fix what happened to them. but this kind of harm doesn’t really balance, it can’t be made equivalent. jiwook is also inherently disturbed in a way that extends beyond juyeon, remember, he has multiple victims, women & children. juyeon just happens to be the one who remains attached enough, or obsessive enough, to chase him to the ends of the earth. in that sense they’re kind of each other’s karmic bond so id say jiwook deserves this.
Hard agree, but imo saying “women and children” is kinda misleading considering everyone he made revenge porn of was a teenager just like him. The laws in Korea punishing kids who make CSAM of other kids are extremely weak, like wdym Jiwook only got community service after all that……. I’m proud of Juyeon for taking that mf off the streets.
