Grayson does not give a shit about anyone's else feelings but his own. That alone is enough reason to not like his ass.
Right away we learn he's just ghosting people after sleeping them. Thats shitty behavior.
The firefighters didnt like him at first cus he got in from connections alone. Thats a valid reason for them to not like his ass.
So yeh I dont like his ass and agree with "idiot firefighters" he needs an ego check
Ghosting?? He still interacts with the women in the station and clearly it is a one night stand that both parties mutually wanted to try, not a relationship lmafao. They’re not in each other’s business. Ego check? Sure. But he IS someone above a regular’s league that he can profoundly flash because it’s his lifestyle to be privileged
And fyi he does care but just not on a deeper level and considering his brain chemistry is a whole lot different but he doesn’t just start a fight without anyone for no reason unless they did something bad to him first. He takes the hit then goes all out. Sure he can cross the line but with the way you describe him is full bigotry
I don't understand your point, getting everything he wants? Just so you know, when Grayson realized his twisted obsession with Dane
spoiler
Grayson had thoughts of killing Dane so that Dane could be his all, a twisted dominant alpha obsession and thought inherited in their family (if I'm not mistaken, I forgot the details) and Grayson remembered Ash (his father) saying that love doesn't hurt, so Grayson told Dane that he didn't love him and admitted that he had thoughts of killing Dane, this resulted from his frustration at seeing Dane always sacrificing himself. He cried when he said that to Dane even though Dane was clearly already fall in love with Grayson. Grayson let Dane go because he wouldn't let himself do that and put aside the fact that he himself would be tortured forever because he refused to be with anyone but Dane…
Ash couldn't even believe it when Grayson actually let go of Dane because he remembered his words that love doesn't hurt, because basically, Ash would never be able to let go of Koi. grayson was able to hold his twisted alpha obsession to such an extent and not let himself hold dane back because he believed and was sure that love doesn't hurt, so he let dane go because that's how big his love was. even though he said that 'it wasn't love' to dane because he was sure that obsession wasn't love.
The ghosting is clearly stated in ch 1 we're only on ch 10 dont know how u forgot already
Someones brain chemistry isnt an excuse or gives them a free card to act like an ass
Someone getting a job soley bc of connnections especially in a field like this is not okay and him taking advantage of that privilege is shitting
and I dont think u know what bigotry means...
How am I supposed know information that hasnt even happen yet?
Still doesnt change my opionion that hes an ass and if anything makes him look like an bigger ass
Cus im sure he harassed and meddle in Dane life so much before he decided to leave. And now that Dane is attached to him Grayson is leaving. It sounds like a lose lose situation but it was a situation of his making.
damn ok? well, if that's your opinion, no need to continue reading anything bout grayson then i wanted to answer the question of whether he did harassment before he finally let dane go but i kinda forgot that part in the novel.. i honestly don't even remember cause grayson treated dane quite well though.. as far as i remember he also never forced dane to have sex with him.. grayson got sick bcs he didn't release his pheromones regularly (it's important for a dominant alpha to release pheromones to stay sane and not go crazy) and that was only done through sex or medical injections (something like that, that involves doctor) which wasn't healthy to do but he did it anyway bcs he grew to be not interested in anyone but dane but still didn't force dane into anything, he was just jealous and upset cause dane kept doing his one night stand even when he agreed to a trial date with grayson and that's quite a normal reaction to me(?) so.. well yeah ok have a nice day
You got it totally wrong, it sucks that you're letting Chase's story write your opinion on Grayson, when you don't even know the whole story, that incident was a whole misunderstanding. Grayson cares for his loved-ones quite a lot in fact, he js doesn't know how to properly show it bc he was never given proper education on that.
And for the record, Grayson never harassed nor forced Dane into situations. Youre underestimating Dane, he wouldn't let anyone control his life, especially with what happened in his past that made him become an aromantic that doesn't believe in love. Everything Grayson does with him was consensual. Grayson doesnt force Dane into falling in love with him, in fact Grayson fully accepted Dane's rejection, and immediately cut every connection he had with Dane, all because he did not want to force nor hurt Dane, bc of a certain accident that was totally neither their fault.
If you're gonna let yourself be swayed by hate, then I advice you to js drop this, bc genuinely no one is forcing you into reading this, especially since this is the main story of the novel series(yes kml and kmiyc are all sequels). With the way you don't allow actual novel readers to correct you, I highly doubt you'll comprehend the plot here.
they are all against you but i'm backing you up! Like the novel? He is still an ahhhh. So now that he found his destined partner, all previous shitty actions are being forgiven? Comprehended? Maybe it's the novel readers who got attached to his inner monologue, so backing him up is a reflex response.
Connections? just to come and dump places? like a child's play? eh- understandable the animosity.
skipping common procedures? yep. of course, people inside won't like that. even if still receiving dumps of donations.
i'm wondering about the twins (they are still foul for what they did), would they have come seeing grayson if he told them outright that he doesn't do people twice? looks like their vengeance came from being deceived and lied to, not a clear established boundary like both parties within the station agreed for a one night stand. So, the twins situation does get confusing.
there is even a victim's "group chat", of course they would be baffled that what they went through is going to be dismissed so easily by others who are going to empathize more with the psychopath than them as their inner monologue is not the focus of this story. #icanchangehim #emonobodyundestandsmypain #tryingtounderstandemotions #caring
Seriously. These types of people who makes assumptions after reading only a few chapters of one story and not knowing both povs are insufferable. While reading only what, 10 chapters of the manhwa at that? lol They already closed their minds regardless of the true events that happened. And when you tell them details from the novel, they look like a child throwing tantrums covering both their eyes and ears.
He's not even a psychopath, he's a sociopath and y'all acting like Chase isnt also an absolute shit, if you're talking about the outsiders in the story, don't worry he becomes way better at treating ppl right than Chase has ever done. In fact Grayson puts his life first than the others, and not to mention he saved someone from committing suicide.
Y'all totally making it sound like Chase was a Mary Sue character. Lmao, Chase is also a nutcase and he's the psychotic, he was literally known as the fckn MAD DOG, that's also way before his trauma happped. It was so hard to find bodyguards for him cuz he would shoot them. And mind you yes he was totally normal, his Pheromones didn't affect his brain unlike Nathaniel, Grayson and Ashley. He quite literally INTENTIONALLY shoot ppl, he intentionally pushes Henry out of the helicopter, fully aware that it might take their life, without valid reason too, which is ironic bc Grayson is the total opposite and only fucks someone up as self-defense, ppl had to assault him first before he does something, he knows at least that bc he graduated with a Law diploma.
Also don't even say oh Chase did allat that bc of his childhood and trauma. If chase actions can be justified cs of that, Grayson's case is way more justified then. Ah, mind you Chase's personality didn't change even after his trauma was over. He never even felt guilty abt his actions unlike Grayson, yes, Grayson actually redeemed himself, something that Chase never did? Lol, ironic isn't it. He just softened for Josh, and Josh only, he still severely injured dozens of ppl in the side stories. While still not feeling guilty abt it, again, Grayson actually changed for the better, and promised that he wasn't gonna treat anyone ass anymore, something that Chase never did.
Hell I'd even say if he was in Grayson's position in that one scenario where he had a dilemma abt what to do when someone is trying to die, Chase would probably js let it be, hah, yes, let me repeat what I mentioned earlier: Grayson saves someone and prevents them to k"l themself. Not to mention Josh never even tried to do anything abt Chase's horrible actions, bc he's as horrible or probably worse, he js ignored and just warned chase a bit. Why?? Cuz they were some random character whose life doesn't matter??? At least Grayson realises wht he did was wrong even tho that wasn't intentional. Chase never. Oh but Chase is Angel and his trauma shouldn't be overlooked, no one should read the story of someone who traumatized him and even go as far as defending him.
They're js severely short-sighted and stubborn, it's totally a huge disadvantage to be a manhwa reader, since many artists tend to exaggerate/change/cut important scenes in the novel, that's why they easily misunderstand certain scenes.
I agree abt the throwing tantrums, it's totally weird that they tryna argue with ppl who know better than them It's like a nursing student arguing with an actual nurse. Ofc there's gonna be a reason why we're trying to give them more information from the novel bc they don't know anything at all, and js simply assuming things. Wouldn't you try to correct a child assuming the wrong things?
this deserves to be a pinned comment
Most kmyic biased readers are questioning us when we enumerate the reasons for Grayson's actions. Without them comprehending the character they defend has wrongdoings they justify MORE than we do. I think they are the ones acting blind with all his mistakes and not us. They are the ones who invalidate and reducing the abusive actions into an ignorable mistake.
Exactly, and we're not even trying to fully defend Grayson's actions at all bc, we totally acknowledge that what he did was total ass indeed, he could've done better, but the difference was just that all he did was for a good reason. His intentions were all good, the way he expresses it were wrong, and that's their parents fault.
Btw, I love Chase, finished the novel and reading the manhwa. I am aware of all the things he did wrong. If we really are pointing out all the crimes a person did without justification, I already used him in all arguments here and won, but I did not.
But these people, in every chance they get, without even knowing fully, just keep talking rudely.
Ah that, I also want to point something quite odd since reading the whole novel series. I've noticed that a lot of Kmiyc fans always argue and proudly say Chase is "normal", moreso he's the only "normal" one in their family? When in fact he isn't, he was put under Josh's shadow, it was odd how many ppl kept on downplaying Chase's unique and strong character js bc he was soft to Josh. They tend to forget or ignore that he was called a Mad Dog for a reason. I honestly loved Chase's character when I read his story, but overheated fans misunderstand him and make him seem like a total coward who needs to be protected by his partner.
I want these fans to know that Chase is a far more complex character, it's highly implied that he's very sensitive to things, and Joshua was the perfect match for him. They're making it seem like his trauma made his entire character, bc they're coming here to hate on Grayson making Chase's character far lesser than what Chase actually is. They're getting influenced by Joshua's perspective, and obviously he's gonna find Chase someone he needs to protect bc Joshua has obviously stronger mentality. But ppl have to learn to look at the story outside of one character's perspective. Chase wouldn't have grown up and lasted with his trauma if he was a character who needed protection, he is his own person, and he is far more independent than any ppl including Josh thinks.
LMAO speaking of which I silenced someone rude in tiktok by fully writing a whole essay to clarify Grayson's actions, and pointing out how they're making Chase seem like an angel, and that even reached the letter limit TWICE.
They had me either blocked or reported for 3 whole days They weren't able to reply. I've noticed that most who hate on Grayson haven't read the entire novel series nor have they comprehended Kmiyc

Him just getting to do whatever he wants and things always going his way is annoying
Makes me feel less sympathy towards him when someone actually does something awful to him
